Job Title: Senior Engineer – Solar & Bess

Job Summary: 

This is an experienced engineering position that will function as the lead design engineer for utility-scale PV Solar projects and lead the development of electrical design packages for ultility-scale BESS projects (both 20MW and larger).

• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Minimum 6 years of utility-scale PV Solar and BESS experience
• Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Medium- and Low-voltage switchgear, panel boards, breakers, relays, inverters, UPS systems, battery systems, DC combiner boxes, batter chargers, disconnect switches, and Medium- and Low-voltage cable
• Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Cable sizing, ampacity studies, arc flash analyses, short circuit analyses, reactive capability analyses, and voltage drop calculations
• Comfortable in either SKM or ETAP
• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Must be a self-starter, team player, and excellent communicator

• Expected starting base salary: $105,000+ / year
