Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience supporting complex manufacturing, shipbuilding, repair, modernization, or government programs.
- Expert-level proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 for development, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Including integrating subcontractor and vendor schedules into a master program schedule.
- Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining resource-loaded schedules, network logic, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
- Proven ability to develop, baseline, status, and update program schedules in compliance with government contract requirements.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, or maritime contracts.
- Strong understanding of project controls, schedule management, and program performance measurement techniques.
- Ability to analyze schedule impacts, forecast milestones, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Experience coordinating schedules across engineering, procurement, production, testing, quality assurance, and subcontractor activities.
- Proficiency in schedule variance analysis, earned value concepts, and critical path methodology (CPM).
- Ability to prepare and present schedule status reports to government customers, program managers, and executive leadership.
- Experience supporting contract deliverables requiring schedule reporting, milestone tracking, and performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting program requirements.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and other project reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical scheduling information to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced small business environment while supporting multiple projects and customers.
- Experience supporting work package creation and management, including sequencing, schedule integration, progress tracking, and coordination with production teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct shipbuilding, ship repair, or ship modernization scheduling experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting NAVSEA, SUPSHIP, MSC, Coast Guard, or other federal maritime programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Management, Business, Engineering , or related field.
- Knowledge of waterfront operations, production planning, and shipyard work package execution.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and reporting.
- Primavera P6 Professional Certification or equivalent scheduling certification.
- Knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ITAR, and government compliance requirements.
